We are proud to share with you the moment of the ceremony of the 2000 Galileo Prize awarded to Prof. Francesco Montorsi for Medical Science. The award - now in its 19th edition, the first under the presidency of Antonio De Virgiliis - was held last May 19 at the Salone dei Cinquecento in Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. Other awardees this year included Philippe Donnet (for Enterprise), Jeff Koons (for Art), Giuseppe Tornatore (for Cinema) and Ornella Vanoni (Lifetime Achievement Award).
